Rolling over now
New development...Gemma can roll from her tummy to her back. I don't know how she's ever going to learn how to crawl with her track record. Initially she would fall asleep the moment she was on her stomach, now she doesn't last more than 5 seconds before she rolls onto her back.
This past weekend, she had her first sleep over at aunt Elly's house. She did great! Got lots of love from everyone, and was missed terribly by me :( David and I had a fabulous weekend in KC, but it was a little strange going to bed Friday night and not having to go through the routine of putting Gemma to bed.
My absolute favorite thing these days, is going in to pick her up in the mornings. After a while of listening to her talk, I walk in to find her straining to look at the door, and then a HUGE grin the second she sees me. I just love it!
She is so much more interactive now. She loves being sung to, and her new favorite game is now "peek-a-boo"...of course.

4 Months
Gemma had her four month check up yesterday. She weighed in at 14 lbs 4 oz, and 24 1/4 long. Like Dr. Wheeler said, "she's definitely wider than high" hahaha. Once again she was a total trooper for her shots.
Looking pretty in her green for St. Patrick's Day
She has started putting everything in her mouth
She loves playing in her juperoo!

Giggles
Gemma worked really hard today...took two 3 hour long naps, went for a walk with Nanna and Mrs. Pam, had books read to her by mom, ate her cereal, and then took a long bath. What a life huh? No wonder she's so happy!

I would rather talk...
It is becoming increasingly difficult to feed Gemma these days. She seems to prefer bottles now which makes me really sad. Eating just doesn't seem to be one of her priorities, she would much rather talk.

Three Months of Joy
We are really getting the hang of things around here. Gemma's bedtime is between 7:00 and 7:30. She's sleeping over 9 hours, and she's communicating so much better with her crying (either that or I'm learning how to interpret better).
She's still battling her cold, which has hung around for over a month now. Poor little thing! I'm getting a little frustrated with all the congestion.
She turned 3 months old last Sunday (Valentine's Day), and at her last appointment (2/19) she weighed 13 lbs 3 oz.
With some effort I can get her to giggle out loud now, which of course I spend most of my time trying to get her to do. Melt my heart!
Oh yeah...and we got her ears pierced :)
She is such a sweet little girl!!!
I had all three girls this morning...notice they are all dressed alike...I thought it was so cute, especially since it was accidental.
I took Gemma up to Questec to see everyone and she got wiped out. I think her hat might be a little big for her hahaha.
Just chatting away
