Wow! A whole month

Our Internet hasn't been working so I wasn't able to post anything on Gemma's actual one month birthday. But I did make sure to take a picture that morning. She's getting so big! It's a little sad to see the newborn phase pass by, but exciting to see her change and begin to interact a little more. I think by now, most of us have seen her smile, which of course is soooo cute!

Our lives seem to be getting "back to normal". Gemma is starting to sleep a little longer and we are developing a good routine, all in all things are going really well. I love being her mom!

All Smiles

It seems interesting people always have blogs, and I always wanted to have one, I just never felt like I would have much to write about. I decided that when I started having kids I would start one...so here we are. Gemma is absolutely amazing! Aside from having a difficult start with eating and having to spend her first couple of days home wrapped in a bili blanket, she's a pretty easy baby. Yesterday was a big day for her. She had her first blow out diaper, which of course I did not enjoy. But she made it up to me later by giving me her first smile. Yes...it was intentional! She handed some out to her grandma later that day too. I felt pretty special until this morning when I found her sitting peacefully in her bouncy seat wide eyed and smiling at the refrigerator.
